Position Overview
We are seeking a performance-driven Junior Service Technician for our store located in Lawrence Plaza! In this role, you will be responsible for after-sales support, including handling returns and exchanges, assisting customers with computer service inquiries, completing service department administrative tasks, and driving sales of service packages. Your ability to identify customer needs and confidently recommend solutions will be key to your success.
As a Junior Service Technician, you will provide exceptional customer support, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and ensure a seamless service experience. You will work alongside experienced Service Technicians, gaining hands-on experience in computer hardware and software diagnostics, repairs, and assembly. This role offers the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and develop your skills within the computer technician field, with potential for career progression as you gain experience.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer service needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including service packages.
- Complete administrative tasks within the service department to ensure efficient workflow.
- Handle after-sales support, including returns and exchanges.
- Conduct testing on various tech products as needed.
- Diagnose, repair, and assemble computer hardware when required.
- Install and configure software, hardware, drivers, and BIOS settings.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on shifts.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the retail store management team.
Qualifications/ Key Competencies:
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Canada without the need for job sponsorship
- 2-3 years of experience in the retail industry, with a preference for technology retail experience
- Experience in basic computer diagnostics, repair, and assembly (formal or self-taught)
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED required

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
