Part time hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
HOURS (opening and closing 30 min before and after below listed times)
Monday and Tuesday - 10:00 am -5:00 pm
Wednesday and Thursday - 11:00pm - 7:00pm
Friday - 8-4
An additional Level II DA is required for a busy dental practice in the Toronto Beaches area. The candidate must be professional, have strong interpersonal skills, and have an excellent work ethic. We are seeking a warm, friendly, kind, reliable, adaptable, detail-oriented dental assistant to join our vibrant but small team operating with 1 Dentist and 3 Hygienists.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
- Maintain and monitor sterilization equipment, completing daily/weekly/monthly required testing and documentation.
- Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow
SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES (between Assistants):
- Welcome, seat and develop a relationship with patients
- Chair-side assisting
- Keep clinic organized and stocked
- Use of computer to upload images/type notes
- Set up trays
- Disinfecting and cleaning rooms
- Opening and closing duties
- Maintaining accurate patient charts and record-keeping
- Keeping track of inventory
- Opening the package deliveries
- Other responsibilities in downtime
- Use of intra-oral scanner
- Taking photos
- Minor equipment maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of Canadian work experience.
- Excellent comprehensive patient-focused skills
- Positive team playing attitude
- CPR certification (provided annually in-house)
- HARP certified with strong skills in taking radiographs
- Able to take photographs and digital scans
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
