We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in cloud data technologies, ETL/ELT frameworks, distributed systems, and data modeling, along with the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines
- Build ETL/ELT workflows for ingesting and transforming structured and unstructured data
- Develop and optimize data warehouses, lakehouses, and data marts
- Ensure high data quality, integrity, governance, and security standards
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and optimize processing efficiency
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support analytics and ML use cases
- Implement CI/CD, testing, observability, and automation best practices
- Lead architecture discussions and recommend scalable data solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable data infrastructure
Pay: $118,500.00-$137,000.00 per year
