Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Glazier / Curtain Wall Installer to install aluminum-framed glazing systems on active construction sites. This is a field role involving work at heights and is well suited to a safety-focused tradesperson with strong glazing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install curtain wall, window wall, storefront, and glass/glazing systems per shop drawings
- Set and assemble aluminum framing, mullions, pressure plates, and caps
- Glaze, seal, and weatherproof units using gaskets, sealants, and tapes
- Set glass and panels safely using suction cups, hoists, and rigging
- Work from scaffolds, swing stages, boom lifts, and scissor lifts at height
- Read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Follow all site safety, fall-protection, and PPE requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial glazing / curtain wall installation experience
- Valid Working at Heights and Fall Arrest training
- Ability to read shop drawings and architectural details
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor field conditions
- Aerial work platform (boom/scissor lift) certification an asset
- Reliable transportation to job sites across the region
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Pay: $24.00 to $32.00 per hour
Work Location: In person - various job sites; reporting hub Hamilton, ON
