Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and industrial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems with low voltage systems and industrial equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes during all work performed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in both residential and industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical installations.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in the trade.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are preferred.
