Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience with various types of heavy machinery, including forklift operator, crane management. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as Trucks , cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Experience in electrical systems repair is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the role.
- Previous dealership experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is beneficial for certain equipment types.
