Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, ensuring safety standards are met, and contributing to the successful completion of building and infrastructure developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, bulldozers, or excavators (training provided)
- Perform paving tasks, including laying asphalt or concrete surfaces as needed
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and electrical work
- Measure and mark site locations for construction activities
- Transport materials and tools around the site efficiently and safely
- Support the installation of structures, foundations, and other infrastructure components
Skills
- Previous experience or familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of paving techniques and construction processes is advantageous
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations on construction sites
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various construction tasks
