Pillar5 Pharma Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our Maintenance department. As a Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all assigned areas within the facility.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Perform general repairs and basic maintenance such as drywall, furniture moving, air filter replacement, minor plumbing repairs, etc.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
- First Aid Certification and Forklift Experience considered an asset.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and general handy person.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
