Position Summary:
Erb Group Specializes in LTL and TL shipments operating in Canada and lower 48 States across North America. Eligible applicants must obtain a valid passport or Fast Card.
Job Title: Full-time Permanent DZ Cross Border Driver
Job Location: Baden, Ontario
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday long haul to USA including New York City, MI, OH and CT area
What will you do?
- Pick-up and delivery of temperature-controlled freight
- Work safely and maintain compliance with policies and procedures
- Document information such as fuel usage, mileage driven using a logbook or electronic device
- Conduct routine inspection of the truck, including vehicle systems and equipment
- Communicate with Broder Official when dropping off freight in the U.S.
- Travel for extended periods of time
Who are we looking for?
- Valid DZ license is required
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience required
- Ability to travel into the US
- Comply with Hours of Service regulations and weights
- Ability to be away for extended periods
- Possess positive and team oriented attitude
