Front Desk Night Auditor
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Night Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and reconciling all hotel cashier transactions from the previous day, ensuring the accuracy of guest billing and financial records. You will also perform front desk duties and must have a thorough understanding of the property's management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all daily night audit procedures in accordance with hotel policies and standards.
- Reconcile and balance cash receipts, prepare deposits, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Verify the accuracy of guest accounts, billing, and transactions.
- Provide exceptional guest service and handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Operate the property management system to check guests in and out, process room moves, and manage reservations.
- Coordinate with and process reservations from third-party booking partners.
- Maintain a secure and organized front desk environment during overnight shifts.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work various shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
- Minimum 6 months of front desk or night audit experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems is an asset.
