Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman/woman Plumber to join our team. This position involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools effectively
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety protocols related to plumbing, HVAC, and construction environments
- Troubleshoot system issues using technical schematics and basic math calculations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman Plumber or similar role in construction or maintenance environments
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems is preferred
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and carpentry skills are advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites or within industrial settings
- Prior experience with assembly tasks and maintenance work is beneficial
This position requires a dedicated professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety. Candidates should possess relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
