We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Associate to join our team.
Work Schedule
- 25-40 hours per week
- Must be available during 1:00 – 4:00 PM (may include additional hours)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the produce department is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding produce selection, preparation, and storage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce department.
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with customers and provide assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Previous experience in supermarket settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and marketing principles.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management abilities.
