We are seeking a dedicated and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a brand focused on Sustainability, Quality Foods and Community, we require passion and value-alignment in all team-members.
Candidates must live within a 2-mile radius of the store (901 Queen St E, M4M 1J4)
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service through customer assistance, operational efficiency and product knowledge. Your ability to handle inquiries, process customer orders accurately, and maintain the store's appearance will be essential in enhancing customer satisfaction and supporting our store's growth. Appreciation and knowledge of either whole-foods cooking, healthy living or plastic-free lifestyles are highly valued to serve our client base effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver The Source Bulk Foods required customer service experience with every customer that enters the store
- Maintain store presentation standards in terms of stock refilling, cleaning, store signage;
- Maintain high hygiene rating through completion of our cleaning procedures and safety checklists;
- Point of Sale proficiency including processing a sale, gift voucher, return, refund and closing/resolving open orders;
- Process and monitor customer requests;
- Receipt in inventory deliveries;
- Liaise with the Store Manager/Deputy Manager/Supervisor regarding any customer issues or questions;
- Answer the telephone in a friendly manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, or related fields is preferred;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Being proactive, responsive and engaged in the busy store environment;
- Interest in and extensive product knowledge;

- Able to quickly and efficiently carry out all tasks on the opening, midshift and closing checklists;

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
