At 4Cats, people don't come just to make art. They come for birthday parties, first dates, family time, team building, and memories they'll talk about long after the clay has dried.
Your job is to capture all of it.
This isn't a desk job. You'll spend your days moving between our studios, photographing workshops, filming short-form video, capturing guest reactions, styling products, and documenting the everyday magic happening inside 4Cats.
What you'll do
- Photograph workshops, parties, camps, and events
- Create short-form vertical video for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Capture authentic guest moments and staff interactions
- Photograph new workshop samples and products
- Build a library of seasonal marketing content
- Edit and organize photos and videos daily
- Travel between studios throughout Victoria and Vancouver
- Occasionally photograph special events and community activations
- Edit long form video footage
A typical day
You might visit four studios in one day, leaving each one with:
- Beautiful lifestyle photography
- Product photography
- Guest candids
- Staff portraits
- Behind-the-scenes moments
- Dozens of video clips ready for Reels
No two days look the same.
We're looking for someone who
- Has a strong photography portfolio
- Can shoot compelling short-form video
- Has experience editing in Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or CapCut
- Understands Instagram and TikTok trends
- Is friendly and comfortable interacting with guests of all ages
- Can work independently
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Can lift basic photography equipment
Bonus points
- Drone licence
- Motion graphics experience
- Graphic design skills
- Experience photographing families, events, or hospitality businesses
Success looks like
Each week you'll create enough content to keep dozens of social channels fresh, including:
- Hundreds of edited photos
- Short-form videos
- Seasonal campaigns
- Event coverage
- Evergreen content for marketing
