Job Description
Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a Cylinder Assembler on the evening shift for the Edmonton manufacturing team. This position will report to the General Foreman.

What you will do:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair existing hydraulic cylinders

Assemble, disassemble, install, and commission new hydraulic cylinders

Safety and functional testing of cylinders

Perform weekly maintenance and cleaning
-
Fasten components together (by tack weld) in preparation for a welder to complete the process

Ensure product quality
-
Ensures workmanship throughout the manufacturing process and on finished goods meets or exceeds the cost, quality and schedule expectations of all customers.

Active participation in WBM Safety Program, ensuring that workplace safety exists at all times

Other duties as required

High School diploma

A minimum of 2+ years of related experience in hydraulic cylinder assembly is preferred

Due to safety considerations and the physically demanding nature of the role, successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical evaluation upon hiring. Passing the Level 1 fitness test on your first attempt is a bona fide occupational requirement (BFOR).
