Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Orangeville, ON (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Our client is a growing organization within the manufacturing and distribution space, operating in a high-volume, inventory-driven environment. With continued expansion across operations, they are looking to add to their accounting team to support increased business activity and complexity.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role driven by company growth, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end activities, and financial reporting within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle accounting and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reconciliations
- Work closely with inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and reporting
- Assist with variance analysis and reporting to support business decisions
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and other departments
- Support audit and compliance requirements as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA designation (or actively working toward completion) preferred
- Experience working in inventory-based environments (manufacturing, food processing, or wholesale distribution) is required
- Strong ERP experience (mid-to-large systems required; NetSuite considered an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000 – $100,000
- Bonus: 5% of base salary
