Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked properly, maintaining consistency and quality
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter or in the dining area
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts
- Assist with other food service duties as needed, including meal preparation and plating
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding food handling and safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting with efficiency
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Reliable team player with good communication skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or meal preparation is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently during busy hours
