Responsibilities
- Lead compensation and benefits programs across Canada ;
- Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis ;
- Manage salary reviews, bonus plans, and incentive programs ;
- Advise leaders on workforce planning and compensation strategies ;
- Analyze compensation data, labor trends, and pay equity ;
- Oversee employee benefits administration and vendor management ;
- Support retail growth, organizational changes, and retention initiatives ;
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation ;
- Develop HR analytics, reports, and compensation models for decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards within a retail or multi-site environment ;
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or accounting ;
- Strong understanding of compensation structures for both corporate and retail store populations ;
- Knowledge of Ontario’s Employment Standards Acts and British Columbia is required. Alberta and Quebec's employment legislation would be considered a strong asset ;
- Experience working within fast-paced, high-growth organizations ;
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills; HRIS experience required ;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ;
- Bilingualism (French/English) considered an asset ;
- CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset.
