SIMCO Management presently has a unique opportunity. The successful candidate must be outgoing, possess great people skills, and have the ability to work independently at a wide variety of tasks. This is a maintenance position with emphasis on service and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a multi talented individual with experience in painting, restoration, and drywall repair who takes pride in delivering high quality workmanship and maintaining professional standards across all aspects of the role.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver superior customer service and represents the company in a professional manner at all times
- Perform duties as assigned, in a timely manner
- Perform additional duties as required
- Attend and participate in training programs as required by SIMCO/Board of Directors
- Work in conjunction with the property managers
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Afterhours call availability, on rotation with the team (once/four weeks)
EDUCATION/EXPERINCE:
- 5 -10 years of experience in building operations
- Condominium experience an asset
- Must have experience in some or all of the following skills: Painting, cleaning, landscaping, light maintenance duties.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Problem solving skills that involve many variables
- Work independently as well as in a team, with respect for other team members
- Reliable vehicle
- Criminal Background and Driver’s Abstract Check
- Standard hand and power tools and all other tools related to skills and abilities: Drywall, Painting, General handyman duties
- Professionalism to be displayed through all aspects of the role
