We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and sales processing
- Conduct product demos and provide technical information to customers interested in technology or electronic products
- Upsell additional items and promote ongoing promotions to increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure products are well-organized on the sales floor
- Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform basic math calculations for accurate billing
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and organizing merchandise displays
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Support team members during busy periods by sharing organizational tasks and maintaining efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and product demos is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation required
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive shopping experience
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary for maintaining store presentation
