Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Front Desk to join our team. Experience in medical or dental office settings, along with familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Workspace, is highly desirable. Duties
- Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry tasks accurately into various software systems, including QuickBooks and other databases
- Handle filing, document management, and record keeping to ensure organized office operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and managing mail
- Support bookkeeping activities related to billing and invoicing when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to uphold a professional appearance
- Support other clerical duties as needed to ensure efficient office workflow
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office setting, preferably in medical or dental offices (Dental receptionist or Medical office experience is a plus)
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry processes
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or bookkeeping software is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for proofreading and filing tasks
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous clerical or administrative experience required; customer service experience highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Ability to type accurately and quickly to support administrative functions
