Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide outstanding service to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, efficiently handling cash, card transactions, and food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as needed
- Manage food handling responsibilities safely, adhering to hygiene protocols at all times
- Support team members with serving food and beverages during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cashiering and order processing
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in the food industry or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
