LIVunLtd is seeking a dynamic, experienced Member Services Lead to lead the Member Services team across two downtown corporate fitness facilities, including a brand-new flagship location. This is a new opening.
This role is responsible for leading all front-line service staff, ensuring exceptional member experience, and driving a high-performance, service-driven team culture across both sites.
Schedule
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday leadership position (37.5 hours/week). The role will be assigned to one of two consistent shifts:
- Opening Shift: 5:45 AM – 1:45 PM
- Closing Shift: 12:15 PM – 8:15 PM
No weekend shifts required.
Access to reliable early-morning transportation is mandatory for this role.
About the Role
The Member Services Lead plays a key leadership role in the daily operations and member experience across our downtown fitness facilities. This individual is responsible for leading the Member Services team while supporting membership services, personal training coordination, group fitness programming, facility operations, and community engagement initiatives.
This role requires a proactive, organized, and personable leader who is passionate about developing a strong team culture and delivering an exceptional member experience across both locations.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead and support all Member Services staff across both locations
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Conduct ongoing coaching, check-ins, and performance reviews
- Ensure effective staffing coverage while driving a strong service-focused team culture
Operations & Service Excellence
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional member experience across both sites
- Maintain high standards for customer service, communication, and operational execution
- Ensure staff are fully trained on policies, procedures, safety, and service expectations
- Monitor team performance and service consistency across all shifts
- Support smooth day-to-day operations in a multi-site environment
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in fitness, hospitality, retail, or service environments
- Strong people management skills with experience in coaching and performance development
- Highly organized with strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with scheduling, staffing, and operational oversight
- CPR & First Aid certification required
- Fitness certifications (PT, Group Fitness, or related) considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in Fitness, Business, Recreation, or related field preferred
