Sales Assistant
As Sales Assistant you will provide essential on-site support to the sales team by greeting visitors, conducting model home tours, and guiding prospective buyers through the home-buying process. You will maintain sales office organization, prepare documentation, manage CRM databases, and deliver a high-quality customer experience. You will also be responsible for acting on behalf of the New Home Sales Consultant in their absence as well as during high traffic in sales centres. The Sales Assistant works closely with the New Home Sales Consultant(s), construction site staff and other Sales Assistants to meet the sales goals of each community.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet visitors, deliver sales presentations, and showcase model homes and community amenities.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate client records, register visitors, and assist with processing purchase agreements and change orders.
- Lead Management: Follow up with prospective buyers and assist the Sales Consultant with nurturing leads.
- Sales Center Maintenance: Ensure the model home and sales center are clean, tidy, organized, and presentable.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of available homes, pricing, and upgrades.
Qualifications
- Experience in new home sales (an asset, but not required)
- High school diploma
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field (an asset)
- New home industry experience (an asset)
- Strong sense of social perceptiveness and emotional intelligence
- Professional & effective communication skills (Bilingualism an asset).
- Passion for excellence in customer experience delivery.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, deadline driven environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Self-starter with high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
- Detail oriented while being able to think strategically.
- Time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Effective problem solving, decision making, negotiation and conflict management skills
- Professionalism, tact, courtesy, and diplomacy skills
- Ability to establish and nurture productive relationships with staff, co-workers, customers, trade and industry partners.
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail/calendar applications, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), Canva, Adobe Acrobat, CRM and ERP software.
