About you:
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (self-storage experience is a plus)
- Previous sales experience is considered a strong asset
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable using technology, including smartphones and tablets
- Strong communication skills
- Able to stay organized and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for people of all backgrounds
- Physically capable of meeting the day-to-day demands of the role, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Opening and closing the site
- Showing and renting storage units
- Handling customer inquiries (phone, email, and online)
- Processing payments and managing accounts, including collrctions
- Selling storage merchandise items
- Managing move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and paperwork
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept office and facility environment, including washrooms
- Conducting regular facility and unit checks for damage, occupancy, and maintenance needs
- Ensuring all units are clean and ready for new customers
- Assisting the Facility Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly operations
- Supporting other tasks as needed
