Leasing Agent (Part-Time, Temporary)

We own and manage a diverse portfolio of development and multi-family rental properties.
HyLand Properties is seeking a part-time temporary Leasing Agent to support the lease-up of a new residential community in Surrey, B.C. You’ll be the first point of contact for future residents, showcasing homes, building relationships, and driving leasing success.
Position Details
Location: Surrey, B.C.
Hours: Up to 25 hours per week (daytime, evenings, and weekends, Sunday required)
Duration: 6 months (may extend up to 12 months)
Wage: $22.50–$26.50/hour (based on experience)
Duties
- Conduct in-person and virtual suite showings
- Respond to leasing inquiries, leads, calls, and emails
- Guide prospects through applications and leasing
- Prepare leases and maintain accurate records
- Support move-ins and resident onboarding
- Maintain presentation of model suites and leasing office
- Assist with marketing initiatives and promotions
- Meet/exceed leasing and occupancy targets
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and well-organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sales, customer service, or hospitality experience is an asset
- Yardi Voyager, CRM and MS Office experience is an asset
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
