Job Summary

Duties
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Secure drywall sheets using appropriate fasteners, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Finish joints with taping, mudding, sanding, and applying textures for seamless surfaces
- Perform caulking around edges and seams to prevent air or water leaks
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
- Conduct minor carpentry tasks such as framing adjustments or repairs as needed
- Apply finishing touches like painting or touch-up work related to drywall installation when required
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris throughout the project
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation or related trades
- Skilled in construction painting, caulking, and finishing techniques
- Hands-on carpentry knowledge with the ability to read blueprints confidently
- Prior handyman experience is a plus for tackling diverse project needs
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
