Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and daily needs of children in a safe and nurturing environment. This role involves engaging children in educational activities, meal preparation, and ensuring their well-being through attentive caregiving. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong organizational skills, and be committed to creating a positive experience for both children and their families.
Responsibilities
- 2pm to 6pm for 3 days each week.
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties
- Support children with special needs or disabilities through individualized care and teaching strategies
- Foster positive behavior and social interaction among children
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Requirements
- Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking for young children
- Ability to work well with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding
- Strong caregiving skills with a nurturing attitude
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members
- Must be reliable, responsible.
