Possibly on other nights, we might have work for you, as needed.
The IDEAL Candidate will reside between Barrie and Woodbridge, where we can use your service at both the FedEx facilities in Barrie and Woodbridge.
Sunday night, Start time 07:45 PM
Finish around 07:00 AM
- It is best suited for a semi-retired driver.
- This particular unit is based out of the Barrie FedEx facility at 1 Big Bay Point Road.
- IMPORTANT: We are not Hiring Drivers who already / currently work for other FedEx Contractors.
If you left/quit your job for a FedEx Linehaul Contractor (let's say) 6 months ago or longer, we can hire you if everything checks out OK.

NO DAY SHIFT.
NO AFTERNOON SHIFT.
A Minimum of 5 Years of experience, AZ / Tractor -Trailer Driving Experience is required.
Only selected driver applicants will be contacted.
You MUST live no more than 30 minutes driving away from the Barrie FedEx facility.
If you live one hour or more away from there, please DO NOT APPLY.
You will need to connect two pup/28-foot trailers, an A-Train combination (including the converter dolly), and then separate and drop both trailers.
Training will be provided if you have never done A-Trains.
The AZ Driver applicant must have a 100% Clean police / criminal Search.
THIS IS A MUST,
And preferably a CLEAN ABSTRACT and a CVOR.
One Minor Moving Violation is fine.
WE DO NOT HIRE DRIVERS ON AN OPEN TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT.
We only hire drivers who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents / PR holders.

All the trucks have full-size sleepers, inverters, microwaves, fridges, pretty much everything you need on the road.
We have Newer Equipment.
2022 and 2024 Automatic Trucks.
We supply the best-maintained trucks in the business and pay above-average wages, so we expect only the best professional attitude and reliability in return.
You are expected to have basic computer skills and a phone App. skills.
Our drivers like the overnight shift because there is no traffic at night, and they like the FedEx Professional environment and the great treatment by FedEx LineHaul Dispatch.
