Duties
- Prepare and serve specialty matcha drinks, bagels, and other menu items with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient cashiering and transaction processing
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling bagels and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth operation during busy weekend hours
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure seamless service throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, especially as a barista or in serving roles, is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Ability to work weekends consistently, including early mornings or late mornings on Saturdays and Sundays
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
