Reporting to their Team Lead and working closely with the Production Supervisor, the Production General Labourer plays a key role in a collaborative team dedicated to building and repairing innovative Weatherhaven shelters and shelter systems. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including assembling metal components and supporting the construction of fabric structures. Key Functions & Duties
· Assist in building, assembling, and setting up products and components
· Perform tooled and non-tooled assembly processes
· Fold, package and kit components for production and shipment
· Follow manufacturing instructions, drawings, and production processes accurately
· Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment required for assigned tasks
· Maintain quality standards and ensure finished products meet workmanship expectations
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
· Support team production requirements and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
· Experience using hand tool, power tools, and general production equipment
· Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
· Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
· Positive attitude and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
· Ability to use measuring tools in both metric and imperial systems
· Basic mechanical or manufacturing experience is considered an asset
· Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
· Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting up to 50lbs, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods
