Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record in retail management and team supervision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage store operations, develop sales strategies, and enhance customer service standards to achieve company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and motivation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and merchandising plans to attract customers and increase revenue.
- Oversee store management activities including inventory purchasing, pricing, and product placement to optimize sales performance.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth store operations.
- Conduct recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new staff members to build a high-performing team.
- Handle customer service issues with professionalism, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and positive shopping experiences.
- Monitor sales metrics using POS systems and analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Supervise cashiering operations, cash handling procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate promotional activities and marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility in the community.
- Lead by example in demonstrating leadership qualities such as organizational skills, time management, and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales management with supervising experience preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills in both English and multilingual capabilities are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies, purchasing, and store management is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management, training & development, and supervising staff.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and math skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to recruit talent through interviewing processes and develop staff through ongoing training initiatives. Pay: $46,408.68-$150,968.52 per year
