Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Estimator to join our team.
Premium Built Structures is an established and industry leading post frame building company specializing in agricultural, commercial, and residential structures. We value Safety, Quality, Customer Relationships, Solutions, & Transparency.
The ideal candidate will play an important role in preparing accurate and detailed quotes for Post Frame building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the sales, design, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and reflected in pricing and estimates.
Responsibilities
- This is a location based position working out of our Company Offices in Lacombe, Alberta. This position does not offer the ability to work remotely.
- Prepare detailed and accurate sales quotes based on customer requirements.
- Review plans, specifications, and project details to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in updating CRM program with new and current customer input and notes.
- Collaborate with sales and construction teams to gather necessary inputs.
- Communicate clearly with Sales team regarding quote details.
- Ensure all quotes meet company standards and timelines.
- Support continuous improvement of quoting processes and tools.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills will also be a valuable attribute.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with commercial quoting software would be an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus in dynamic situations.
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continuously improve.
- Relevant experience and education in construction or trades related fields will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
This role is vital for ensuring our projects are competitively priced while maintaining profitability. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess some understanding of the construction industry and/or estimating practices.
