Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Chef to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and excellent customer service skills. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, especially in food handling, cooking, and meal preparation. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Assist with inventory management by stocking ingredients and supplies as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting fellow staff members during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Basic understanding of food handling procedures and meal preparation processes
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
