MAIN ACCOUNTING ACTIVITIES
- Handle full cycle accounts of car rental company.
- Review backup schedules such as rental sales, depreciation, inventory, and other Supporting documents for monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of all general ledger accounts and bank accounts are up to date to ensure financial accounts are fairly presented and accurate, errors are corrected, and issues are resolved and/or escalated.
- File monthly sales tax.
- Streamline and automate routine accounting processes and activities.
- Special projects as requested by senior management; other duties as required.
Some of what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or commerce
- Good understanding of transactional and reporting processes with a proven track record of continuous improvement
- Good understanding and experience with accounting, internal controls, financial systems, and processes
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Sage
- Improve the quality of monthly reporting and analysis on an ongoing basis
- Self reliant and ability to take in tasks when required.
- Efficient , Takes Initiative , Motivated at work
Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
