General Labourer – Join the Net Zero Electric Team
Net Zero Electric is looking for a reliable, hardworking General Labourer to join our growing team.
We work on a variety of residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects, including solar PV installations, battery energy storage systems, EV charging infrastructure, electrical renovations, and service work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to be part of the rapidly growing renewable energy industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting electricians with installations and service work
- Supporting solar PV, battery storage, and EV charger installations
- Transporting and organizing materials, tools, and equipment
- Preparing job sites and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Assisting with rooftop work and material handling
- Loading and unloading equipment and supplies
- Performing general construction and labour tasks as required
- Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and safely
What We're Looking For

- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all seasons
- Comfortable working at heights, including on flat and pitched rooftops
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying construction materials and equipment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Strong attention to safety and job-site awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Effective time-management and organizational skills
- Willing to travel for occasional out-of-town projects and infrequent overnight stays
- Valid driver's license with own transportation prefered.
Experience Considered an Asset
- Construction or general labour experience
- Experience working with electrical contractors
- Solar PV installation experience
- Working at heights certification
- Equipment operation experience
- First Aid certification
