Quality Control TechnicianJob Summary
Newmar Window Manufacturing Inc., a trusted manufacturer of high-performance windows and entry door systems and a member of the Alpa Lumber Group, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet company quality standards through inspections, reporting, documentation, and quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect products according to company requirements and specifications.
- Create and maintain Quality Control (QC) log sheets.
- Prepare weekly QC statistical reports.
- Create, update, and maintain work instructions as required.
- Use measuring tools and equipment to verify product quality.
- Assist with quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Some lifting may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Manufacturing quality control experience preferred.
- Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
