We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Sales Representative to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves building relationships with clients, managing a sales pipeline, and closing high-end vehicle deals. The Automotive Sales Representative will play a key role in expanding our market presence through effective marketing strategies and upselling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers through outside sales efforts to promote our vehicle inventory and services
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation and conversion
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs, providing detailed product information and demonstrations
- Upsell additional products such as warranties, service packages, and accessories to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up schedules
- Support marketing initiatives by participating in promotional events and outreach campaigns
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person using professional phone etiquette
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop strategies for increasing sales effectiveness
Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close vehicle deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups efficiently
- Knowledge of marketing principles and experience supporting sales support activities is a plus
- Ability to work independently in outside sales environments while maintaining a team-oriented approach
- Familiarity with sales management tools and maintaining an active sales pipeline
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel as needed
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
