Position Overview:
We currently have an exciting opportunity at our Fort St. John, BC location for a Landfill Foreman.
Position Responsibilities:
· Direct supervision of all E360s employees working at the Landfill Facility
· Ensure all Safety policies are followed and enforced
· Adhering to and enforcing the Occupational Health & Safety Standards
· Holding and encouraging active participation in the Daily Tailgate Meeting
· Reporting all Incidents to all required parties
· Ensure Equipment Operators are following safety procedures
· Perform Site Inspection/Assessment
· Litter picking assessment and direction to clean up
· Determine site requirements
· Ensure efficient operation of equipment and labor resources
· Ensure all required areas of landfill running properly throughout the day, and assist where required
Qualifications:
· Considerable skills in the safe operation and use of heavy construction equipment typically used for landfills and other civil works
· A valid drivers license
· Knowledge and ability to use GPS
· Exhibit initiative and responsibility as well as an understanding of the capabilities of the equipment
· Knowledge, skill and ability to operate equipment safely and be able to avoid accidents
· Knowledge, skill and ability in the maintenance and servicing of the equipment at the work site, or when the equipment is in the shop for repair, servicing and/or maintenance
· Ability to carry out written or oral instructions
· Exhibit a high level of initiative, work performance and responsibility in the operation of equipment and the performance of duties
· Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol testing

Experience:
- Heavy equipment operation: 4 years (preferred)
- Equipment Maintenance: 4 years (preferred)
- Supervising: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 5 Licence (required)
