Reporting to the Director, Community Partnerships, the Project Manager leads end-to-end planning, execution, and transition of a mid-scale healthcare project. This role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with clinical, operational, and community needs. The position provides project leadership, governance, and performance reporting aligned with Covenant Health policies and strategic priorities. The Project Manager conducts planning sessions to assess the current state, identify gaps, and recommend future state solutions. The Project Manager prepares executive reports, data, and presentations for project status meetings; develops and maintains monthly tracking for project progress; and captures and documents workflows, processes, and decision points to support sustainability and future use. They also develop operational toolkits including standard operating procedures, staff onboarding and training materials, change management resources, and evaluation frameworks. The Project Manager oversees staff transition planning including recruitment, onboarding, and training to support continuity of care. This is a full-time temporary position based in Edmonton. The successful candidate must be willing to travel within Alberta. Use of personal vehicle may be required, and a driver’s abstract may be requested. This is a non-unionized position.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, quality management, health, or related field. Minimum 5 years related experience (including 3 years in healthcare and 2 years in project management or coordination). Formal training or certification in project management methodologies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management tools, including Excel, Microsoft Projects, Visio is preferred. PMP certificate. Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Substantial project management experience. Prosci certification or change management experience. Experience in acute and/or ambulatory care settings.
