Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience through excellent service, attentiveness, and professionalism. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage multiple tables effectively through strong time management skills
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and responding promptly to requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere by providing guest services that exceed expectations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills to serve multiple tables effectively without compromising quality of service
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed
- A friendly attitude with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
