General Maintenance & Repairs Technician
Summary
Assist with day-to-day general maintenance and basic repairs, inspections and upkeep of warehouse facilities, equipment and structures. These responsibilities will be accomplished following proper Health & Safety procedures and adhering to external stakeholder processes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct regular inspections as per the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program and record and identify any issues.
· Perform basic minor repairs of facility, equipment and systems within permitted scope
· Respond to urgent issues and troubleshoot to perform minor repairs or escalate to Manager to arrange trades if required.
· Complete general maintenance work order requests and record repairs completed.
· Perform painting and touch up tasks as required throughout the interior and exterior of the facilities.
· Assist in the daily upkeep of warehouse facilities and grounds.
· Respond to maintenance work requests.
· Report and record repairs requested and maintenance work performed.
· Manually move tools, equipment and supplies as required.
· Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
· Complete other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
· Minimum of two years’ experience in building maintenance and repairs in related industry
· Good technical knowledge and be mechanically inclined.
· Ability to carry out routine, preventative building maintenance.
· Previous use of CCMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is beneficial.
· Possession of working from heights license is preferred.
· Own set of basic tools.
· Possess a “G” driver’s license in good standing and reliable vehicle.
Our Offerings:
Pay Range: $ 25 to $27 per hour

This position is generally Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day shift with on call duties evenings and weekends periodically based on business needs.
