Job Summary

Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as Sage to record financial transactions accurately.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct account analysis to monitor financial performance and support budgeting efforts.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, payroll data, and other financial documents.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy in employee payments.
- Support month-end closing procedures by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and verifying data integrity.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software such as Sage or comparable platforms.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and maintain accurate financial records.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external vendors.
