Title: Finance Clerk
Location: Peel Region, ON

Salary: $20.00-$22.00/Hour

Our client in Peel Region, ON is actively looking for a Finance Clerk to join their team.
- Reviews, processes and administers all development-related financial instruments such as letters of credit, cash securities, performance bonds and fees.
- Reviews, processes and administers all development-related certificates of insurance
- Responds to customer inquiries on all development finance related matters.
- Verify relevant information and make appropriate changes before processing all development charges and payments.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly summaries/reconciliations of all development finance related revenues and securities.
- Researches and responds to Financial Compliance Response requests
- Provide administrative support on Development Charge by-law reviews, growth related capital projects and special growth studies/reviews (e.g. TTMP, CIL Parkland review, financial planning studies).
- Act as back-up liaison to the Works & Transportation Department, Legal Division, Building Division, Development Services Division, Region of Peel, other City Departments, Developers, Developer's agents/lawyers, on an ongoing basis for all development finance administration matters.
- Act as back-up to the other Development Finance Clerk and the Development Finance Administration Analyst.
- Receive incoming mail and distribute appropriately.
- Undertakes a variety of duties related to record retention.
Education
- High School (Grade 12) graduation plus an additional program of over one and up to two years in Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience
- Over two (2) years, up to and including four (4) years in a n office or related environment.
Other Skills And Assets
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Peoplesoft/ERP
- Knowledge of the Planning process and Development Charges
