Marshall Construction Company is a full-service concrete foundation business serving Central Alberta. We are looking for a reliable and versatile Class 1 Skid Steer Operator and truck driver to join our team.
Job Overview
This dual-role position involves operating skid steer equipment and driving Class 1 truck to haul gravel and construction materials. Candidates must be flexible, safety-focused, and willing to assist with labour duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operates skid steer for grading, prep, and material handling
- Drives Class 1 trucks (hauling material and equipment)
- Haul aggregates to/from job sites
- Perform equipment inspections and maintain logbooks
- Safely load, unload, and dump materials
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 License with 3+ years’ experience
- Skid steer operating experience
- Manual transmission experience
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Experience hauling aggregates (preferred)
- Construction experience (asset)
- Pass drug and alcohol test
Additional Requirements
- Physically fit (lift up to 45 kg)
- Willing to work outdoors, overtime, and Saturdays
- Able to travel as required
- Safety-focused and dependable
