We are seeking a talented and dedicated Full-Time Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, treatments, and special occasion styles
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair products and treatments suited to clients’ needs
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional hair stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to enhance client experience and salon profitability
- Retail sales experience is a plus, demonstrating confidence in recommending products
- Front desk skills including appointment booking, cash handling, and basic administrative tasks are preferred
- A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
