Our Lethbridge operation is established and growing, and we need the right person to own it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a standard warehouse supervisor position. This is a hands-on, single-site operations management role where you are responsible for the full day-to-day function of our Lethbridge branch. You will work independently, take ownership of the operation, and be the person who makes sure everything runs smoothly - from the warehouse floor to the last delivery of the day.
A part-time warehouse assistant will support you with physical tasks, but the responsibility of running this operation sits with you.
WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Warehouse Operations
- Unload inbound trailers and stage all outbound loads
- Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse organization within a 4,000 sq ft facility
- Process cardboard and manage all returns paperwork
- Ensure the warehouse is safe, clean, and audit-ready at all times
Routing & Dispatch
- Route daily delivery loads for two Owner Operator trucks using dispatch software
- Communicate schedules, stop details, and any changes to Owner Operators
- Troubleshoot delivery issues in real time and make sound decisions quickly
Delivery Support
- Operate a Sprinter van for curbside and local deliveries as required
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record required
Day-to-Day Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Lethbridge operation
- Liaise with The Carr Group leadership on performance, volume, and operational needs
- Uphold The Carr Group's customer service standards at every touchpoint
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or last-mile delivery - 3+ years preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities without supervision
- Comfortable with dispatch or routing software - previous experience a strong asset
- Physically capable of unloading trailers and handling large items (appliances)
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Mature, reliable, and accountable - this role requires someone who takes ownership
- Excellent communication skills with both internal team and customers
- Strong computer skills
