What You’ll Be Doing
You will lead HVAC installations, service work, and maintenance across single-family homes, multi-story residential developments, and commercial properties.
Technical Excellence:
- System Expertise: Diagnose faults and deliver clear solutions for heat pumps, rooftop units, VRFs, split systems, furnaces, water heaters, boilers, and various commercial kitchen equipment.
- Team Building: Play a key role in building the new service team and establishing efficient workflows.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor apprentices and junior technicians as the team expands.
- Process & Organization: Maintain a highly organized, process-driven approach, using job management software for precise notes, time entries, and updates.
- Professionalism: Keep your van, tools, and job sites clean and organized while communicating clearly with clients and the office team.
- Compliance: Complete all work to code, spec, and schedule.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who can walk onto a site, own the job, and bring others up with them.
- Certification: Certified Refrigeration and A/C Mechanic (Red Seal) – Required.
- Gas Tickets: Class B Gas Ticket – Required; Class A Gas Ticket is beneficial.
- Electrical: Class B-R FSR Certificate – Required.
- Experience: 5+ years of real-world HVAC and commercial equipment experience.
- Mindset: Highly organized, process-oriented, and a leadership-first attitude.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s licence and clean record.
