Fil-Trek Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial filtration equipment for customers around the globe. Our products are designed and manufactured at our Cambridge, ON facility.
We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Welder Fabricator/Welder Fitter position
Night Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm - 6:30 am
Night Shift Premium: $3 added to base hourly rate.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Experience welding GMAW (MIG).
- TSSA Certifications 1G to 6G would be considered an asset.
- Experience welding GTAW (TIG) would be considered an asset.
- Experience welding pipe and/or pressure vessels would be considered an asset.
- Experience welding stainless and alloy steels.
- Ability to interpret weld symbols would be considered an asset.
- Ability of interpret blueprints and follow welding procedures.
- Knowledge working with driver rollers and positioners to weld pressure components.
- Experience with pneumatic tools, grinders, oxy-acetylene torches and plasma cutters.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with little supervision while meeting strict deadlines.
- Team player.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Wage is negotiable based on welding certifications and welding skill displayed during weld test. Welding test consists of a filet weld in 2F position.
