Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Handle food with proper safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations
- Serve customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas
- Follow all food safety protocols and ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers
- Support team members during busy service times to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to serve customers courteously and professionally
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food presentation
- Basic understanding of the food industry operations is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
